OpenSpan 7.1 How to expose an automation as a web-service end point?
I was trying to expose an automation as a web-service on a virtual machine (Windows 7), however, I got below error as I clicked "Test" button.
Any ideas about what may cause this error?
It seems the domain name part of the URL is blank and it is being substituded with a "+" sign.

Hi,
I have admin rights on desktop. I added service item in openspan studio and then run the command as below.
http add urlacl url=http://+:8080/DirService user=myname and http add urlacl url=http://machinename:8080/DirService user=myname
In openspan studio while publish/test I am getting the below error message.
Failed to publish the service: service binding 'http' address is not valid
Please help me how to test the service in openspan and how to consume this service in .net application.

I am able to publish the service after providing value for Address property. But I am getting below error while consuming the wsdl in .net
Unable to connect to the remote server - No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it ipaddress:8080

The issue is resolved by following the instructions described on the microsoft web page which url displayed on the error message dialogy.
First, start cmd.exe as administrator.
then execute below command.
By doing this, the current user (admin) who is running OpenSpan Studio, is able to add new WebService to the namespace "http://+:8080/TranslatorService/"
